Senior Staff Operations Engineer (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Build a Platform Security operational excellence environment across multiple departments and teams.
• Monitor security gaps, initiative delays, compliance risks, and security issues, and drive resolution.
• Coordinate security engineering, compliance, operational excellence, vendor engagement, and technology evaluation initiatives.
• Work with CSIRT, GRC, technology, project, delivery, and partner teams to implement security controls, detection coverage, documentation, and standards.
• Manage project schedules, change control, documentation, budgets, and delivery across multiple systems and departments.
• Present security risks, best practices, metrics, and actionable solutions to stakeholders and leadership.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in an engineering-focused role, including 4+ years with cloud providers such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Strong experience with hybrid cloud infrastructure, containerization, virtual machines, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code.
• Strong program and project management experience coordinating multi-team delivery at scale.
• Working knowledge of runtime protection, security agents, vulnerability scanning, application scanning, and security services across production systems.
• Experience with Linux, macOS, and Windows environments, continuous delivery, and third-party attestation requirements.
• Knowledge of PCI, SOX, and NYDFS security control frameworks; a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, or equivalent experience is required.
