Customer Application Engineer (C#/.NET)

Location: Pune, India; hybrid working model with 3 days in the office per week

What you will do

• Manage technical application maintenance relationships for 1–5 customer accounts.
• Review, qualify, prioritize, and troubleshoot customer requests, including code and SQL issues.
• Analyze change requests, configure the solution, reduce custom code, and estimate request costs.
• Prepare and coordinate application upgrades, testing, customer acceptance, production deployment, and anomaly follow-up.
• Train customers and partners on new and advanced products and provide solution expertise.
• Share customer needs with R&D and participate in specification and configuration workshops.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience with L3/L4 software product technical support processes.
• Development experience in an object-oriented language, ideally C#.
• Strong SQL skills, including writing and optimizing queries.
• Experience in technical support and the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
• Degree in computer engineering, computer science, or a closely related field is preferred.
• Experience working with AI and Claude Code.
