What you will do

• Drive technical architecture decisions shaping the wealth management platform.
• Design and implement large-scale systems spanning frontend and backend.
• Establish engineering standards, best practices, and documentation.
• Champion the adoption of AI coding tools to accelerate development and improve code quality.
• Solve complex challenges in system design, scalability, reliability, and performance.
• Mentor engineers and provide technical direction through code and architecture reviews.

Requirements

• 10+ years of software engineering experience with demonstrated full-stack expertise.
• Fluency with AI coding tools and a strategic approach to using them.
• Experience making significant technical decisions and owning architectural outcomes.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
• Experience mentoring engineers and driving technical best practices.
• Ability to work autonomously, ship working software, and tackle difficult technical problems.

Nice to have

• Experience with financial services, trading systems, or wealth management platforms.
• Background in high-availability system design and real-time data processing.
• Experience with event-driven architectures.
• Knowledge of financial regulatory requirements and compliance.
