Technical Sourcer (Aerospace)

Location: Los Angeles, United States; onsite

Salary: $45–$65 per hour for the six-month contract.

What you will do

• Build and maintain pipelines of passive and active candidates for engineering, production, supply chain, business operations, and other technical roles.
• Develop multi-channel sourcing strategies using LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean and x-ray search, GitHub, technical communities, referrals, events, and aerospace networks.
• Identify and engage talent in spacecraft systems, avionics, propulsion, GNC, structures, thermal, and flight software.
• Conduct personalized outreach and initial pre-screens covering technical fit, motivation, compensation alignment, and availability.
• Partner with recruiters, hiring managers, and engineering leadership on intake, calibration, talent mapping, and market intelligence.
• Maintain ATS records and report on response rates, conversion, and pipeline health.

Requirements

• 5+ years of sourcing or full-cycle recruiting experience focused on technical and engineering roles.
• Experience sourcing hard-to-fill specialized technical talent in competitive markets.
• Expert proficiency with LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, x-ray search, and modern sourcing techniques.
• Experience partnering with technical hiring managers and conducting role intake and calibration.
• Strong written communication, candidate engagement, ATS, and data-driven pipeline management skills.
• Ability to work onsite in Los Angeles.

Nice to have

• Experience sourcing for aerospace, defense, hardware, robotics, deep-tech, or engineering-heavy organizations.
• Familiarity with ITAR/EAR considerations, U.S. person requirements, or security clearances.
• Experience sourcing across mechanical, electrical, software, systems, and manufacturing disciplines.
• Experience with high-volume hiring and tools such as Gem, ZoomInfo, Ashby, Juicebox, or LinkedIn Recruiter.
