Software Engineer (Fintech)

What you will do

• Develop and enhance front-end and back-end code across multiple platforms.
• Design and maintain program specifications integrating applications and relational or NoSQL databases.
• Analyze, test, and validate code changes, perform unit testing, and resolve defects.
• Collaborate with business teams, stakeholders, clients, and partners on solution approaches and project delivery.
• Contribute to engineering standards, PCI compliance, security practices, documentation, estimation, and mentoring junior engineers.

Requirements

• 4+ years of software engineering experience; 6+ years preferred.
• Degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on enterprise experience.
• Czech language proficiency at B1 level is required.
• Strong programming skills in Java, Python, or .NET, with working knowledge of JavaScript, React, or Angular.
• Experience with APIs, services, distributed systems, microservices, relational and NoSQL databases, CI/CD, Git, Spring, and Node.js.
• Ability to deliver secure, high-quality software in a PCI-compliant, high-volume payments environment.
