Spares Sourcing Intelligence Manager

Location: Hybrid, with an average requirement of 2 days per week from an HPE office.

What you will do

• Own sourcing intelligence for spare parts commodities and kitting or repair services covering HDD, SSD, memory, CPU, GPU, server, storage, and networking components.
• Develop benchmarks covering cost drivers, technology transitions, product lifecycles, and market pricing trends.
• Predict, assess, and mitigate shortages and backorders through root-cause analysis of forecasts, suppliers, capacity, lead times, quality, and logistics.
• Support sourcing strategies, negotiations, business planning, shortage recovery, and prevention plans with data-backed recommendations.
• Analyze supplier performance, kitting capacity, operational constraints, cost structures, and network optimization opportunities.
• Drive analytics improvements using Excel, BI tools, digital dashboards, and AI-enabled techniques in collaboration with Sourcing, Supply Assurance, Operations, Finance, and Digital teams.

Requirements

• 8–12 years of experience in spare parts sourcing, supply assurance, supply chain analytics, or commodity intelligence, preferably in high-tech or manufacturing environments.
• Understanding of end-to-end spare parts supply chains, including procurement, suppliers, kitting, logistics, and aftermarket support.
• Experience with shortage management, recovery initiatives, and supply risk mitigation.
• Ability to convert complex supply chain data into clear recommendations for senior stakeholders.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills for modeling, analysis, and executive communication.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, structured problem-solving, and collaboration skills across global time zones.

Nice to have

• Experience with BI tools such as Power BI and data querying tools such as SQL.
• Familiarity with AI-enabled analytics and digital transformation initiatives.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, supply chain, operations, analytics, or an equivalent field; an MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
