Field Service Representative III (FSR III) - Future Opportunities

Location: Torrance, California, United States. The position requires overseas travel and 90–120-day TDY assignments in hazardous-duty locations.

Salary: $99,000–$120,900 USD per year for roles hired in California.

What you will do

• Lead installation, commissioning, and sustainment of deployed HPM-CUAS systems.
• Perform advanced fault isolation, software configuration, and system-level troubleshooting.
• Act as the primary field contact for customer operations and mission support.
• Deliver New Equipment Training and mentor junior Field Service Representatives.
• Support operational assessments, testing, and extended overseas deployments.
• Provide technical feedback to engineering and logistics teams for product improvement.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of related experience with a bachelor’s degree, 3 years with a master’s degree, a PhD without experience, or equivalent work experience.
• Experience supporting complex defense or communications systems.
• Ability to lead small teams in remote or austere environments.
• Active Secret clearance required; TS/SCI eligibility preferred.
• Must satisfy U.S. ITAR eligibility requirements, including U.S. citizenship, U.S. lawful permanent residency, protected-individual status, or eligibility for required authorizations.
• Ability to lift 50–80 pounds, work at heights and in confined spaces, use tools and equipment, and operate in extreme weather conditions with PPE.

Nice to have

• Experience with counter-UAS or directed energy systems.
• Experience developing field procedures, checklists, or technical documentation.
• FAA Part 107 certification or willingness to obtain it.
