Salary: $57,000–$80,000 USD per year, plus potential equity grants.

What you will do

  • Provide remote and onsite technical support to customers, prospective clients, and partners.
  • Document, triage, escalate, and resolve technical issues across deployed drone systems.
  • Partner with engineering, manufacturing, business development, and customer teams to implement corrective actions and improve system performance.
  • Conduct failure analysis, determine root causes, identify trends, and translate field insights into product improvements.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on FPV systems during customer demonstrations and operational activities.
  • Create and maintain user manuals, troubleshooting guides, knowledge base articles, and other technical documentation.

Requirements

  • 2–3 years of experience in technical support, mission support, or field operations within the drone, robotics, aerospace, or defense industry.
  • 2–3 years of experience using Zendesk or similar customer support and ticketing platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of FPV systems, including flight controllers, ESCs, motors, firmware, radio control, video transmission, batteries, and ground control equipment.
  • Hands-on experience configuring, tuning, and troubleshooting FPV platforms with Betaflight, INAV, ArduPilot, PX4, or similar software.
  • Demonstrated ability to fly and maintain FPV drones, including manual Acro flight, plus strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel, support field operations, and work in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

  • FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate and practical UAS operating experience.
  • Technical support experience with hardware, robotics, UAS, or other complex systems.
  • Experience with Signal, Microsoft 365, FPV racing, cinematic FPV, military UAS operations, or other high-performance FPV applications.
  • Working knowledge of RF systems and hands-on electronics experience, including soldering, wiring, and basic hardware repair.
  • Experience creating technical documentation and standard operating procedures.
