Design Engineer - System Integration (Aerospace)

Location: Montréal, Quebec, Canada, or South Burlington, Vermont, United States

Salary: $80,000–$110,000 USD per year

What you will do

• Produce 3D and 2D aircraft-level drawings, interface control documents, and skeletons.
• Review detailed designs, installations, and interfaces.
• Develop concepts and implement solutions for structural interfaces and joints.
• Support R&D and new product development projects.
• Collaborate with design, manufacturing, quality, and procurement teams and participate in design reviews.
• Support first article inspections, conformity and certification activities, and troubleshoot engineering and manufacturing issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or technologist qualification in mechanical or aerospace engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of aerospace experience.
• Strong knowledge of industry specifications and processes.
• Experience with CATIA, 3DEXPERIENCE, and other CAD tools.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, collaboration, coaching, and learning skills.
• Passion for aerospace and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of electrical systems.
• Experience in product development and certification support.
