Business Analyst - OEMS

What you will do

• Translate complex front-office trading and order management workflows across multiple asset classes, with a focus on listed products, into detailed development specifications.
• Partner with clients and Product Managers to define requirements and design workflows, features, and functions for the OEMS platform.
• Work with development and QA teams to build functional specifications, test case suites, and test matrices, then analyze test results.
• Provide Level 3 technical support for live clients and troubleshoot issues in real time.
• Collaborate with Sales during pre-sales and prepare project status reports for stakeholders.
• Use AI tools to complement financial industry knowledge and accelerate technical output.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience with OMS/EMS vendors, asset management front-office users, QA collaboration, or product development teams.
• Strong understanding of global trading systems and front-office workflows.
• Experience translating end-user requirements into development specifications and designing workflows.
• Experience testing software and collaborating with global QA and product development teams.
• Ability to troubleshoot application behavior and distinguish bugs from expected behavior or misconfiguration.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with FIX protocol 4.2 and/or 4.4.
• Knowledge of fair allocation methodologies, including Pari Passu and strategy-based splits.
• Experience in an Agile development environment and interpreting application logs.
• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Aha!, Claude Enterprise, and Claude Code.
