Applications Engineer (New Grad) (Taipei/Hsinchu)

Location: Taipei, Taiwan; the position title also references Hsinchu.

What you will do

• Enhance and debug power IC products and execute system-level IC road tests for verification.
• Participate in product development and coordinate with TME, DE, and PE teams on product features and IC revisions.
• Develop datasheets, application notes, evaluation boards, GUIs, and benchmark reports.
• Design application reference circuits and support customer schematic and layout reviews.
• Provide application support to key customers and field application engineers.

Requirements

• MSEE or higher degree with a major in power electronics.
• Basic knowledge of DC/DC converters, AC/DC converters, power devices, and magnetic components.
• Hands-on experience designing or modeling power circuits, including converters, inverters, or other advanced power topologies.
• Experimental experience with oscilloscopes, power supplies, function generators, and network analyzers.
• Simulation experience with Simplis, Psim, SPICE, or similar tools.
• Average English capability in writing, reading, and speaking is required.
