Customer Engineer-PDC (Semiconductor Equipment)

Location: Hefei, China; on-site customer equipment service with approximately 20% travel

What you will do

• Collaborate with senior field service engineers to install, maintain, and upgrade customer equipment.
• Use digital analytics and basic diagnostic techniques to troubleshoot technical issues.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical, vacuum, mechanical, plasma, hydraulic, and gas systems.
• Coordinate directly with customers to support smooth equipment operation.
• Work in clean-room environments while following safety, environmental, and on-site requirements.

Requirements

• Associate degree, military technical training, field service experience, or trade certification.
• 1–2 years of customer or field service experience, or experience in a related technical field; 2–4 years is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics and diagnose basic technical problems.
• Basic mechanical aptitude in areas such as pneumatics, hydraulics, electronics, vacuum, or thermodynamics.
• Familiarity with hand tools and digital multimeters, plus basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Valid driver’s license, ability to obtain a passport if travel is required, and ability to meet physical, safety, environmental, and clean-room requirements.
