What you will do

• Oversee the safe operation and readiness of robotaxi infrastructure, fleets, and operational sites.
• Monitor safety KPIs, trends, interventions, and anomalies; prepare reports for stakeholders.
• Investigate incidents, validate the safety case, and implement operational controls and risk mitigation strategies.
• Manage vendors and partners, maintain performance standards, and conduct incident-readiness tabletop exercises.
• Lead site safety programs, including Safety Stand-Downs, safety concern reporting, and nonconformance remediation.
• Drive predictive maintenance, fleet upgrades, and compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Requirements

• 3–7 years of experience in transportation safety, logistics, or trucking.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Safety Science, Safety Risk Management, Ergonomics, Logistics, Transportation, or a related safety field.
• Strong understanding of DOT, FMCSA, and OSHA regulations.
• Strong analytical, operational, communication, presentation, and stakeholder-influence skills.
• Ability to resolve complex operational problems, manage spreadsheet data, and build productivity plans.
• Must be authorized to work and reside in the United States. Must be available and responsive for 24/7 operations.

Nice to have

• Experience with the Kaizen framework and continuous process improvement.
• OSHA 500/501 or Certified Safety Professional (CSP) certification.
