EFT/POS Field Technician (Fintech)

Location: Athens, Greece; customer-site field visits required

What you will do

• Install, maintain, repair, upgrade, and validate EFT/POS equipment at customer locations.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues affecting payment terminals.
• Conduct field visits for installations, replacements, repairs, and upgrades.
• Train merchants and end users in POS equipment operation and basic troubleshooting.
• Provide customer support, maintain client relationships, and escalate complex technical issues through resolution.
• Follow company procedures, security standards, and health and safety requirements while rotating working hours with team members.

Requirements

• At least secondary education; a university degree is desirable.
• 2–3 years of experience in a similar role.
• Strong communication, listening, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
• Excellent PC skills and a proactive, team-oriented attitude.
• Active Category B driver’s license required.
• Experience with PC or EFT/POS installation and repair is advantageous but not essential; full training is provided.

Nice to have

• Experience in the fintech or payments industry.
