What you will do

  • Coordinate patient registration and pre-registration duties for assigned staff and monitor daily productivity.
  • Track department performance through reports covering point-of-service collections, wait times, overtime, productivity, and other operational metrics.
  • Assign staff schedules, rotations, time off, and call-off coverage while managing overtime and productivity.
  • Monitor upfront collections, set goals, provide coaching and corrective action, and conduct performance audits.
  • Lead staff training, education, development, evaluations, and day-to-day operational support.
  • Manage process improvement projects, participate in facility meetings, and provide on-call administrative and educational guidance during days, nights, and weekends as needed.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Certified Healthcare Access Management (CHAM) and Certified Revenue Cycle Representative (CRCR) certifications.
  • Ability to lead and direct others, analyze operational information, and use Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge of registration, insurance, scheduling, verification, and hospital billing.
  • Demonstrated advanced use of AI and experience managing teams in AI-enabled process and technology improvements.
  • Ability to work on-site at Ardent - Hillcrest Hospital in Tulsa, OK.

Nice to have

  • Associate or bachelor's degree.
  • Two to three years of supervisory experience in healthcare or a business field.
