What you will do
- Coordinate patient registration and pre-registration duties for assigned staff and monitor daily productivity.
- Track department performance through reports covering point-of-service collections, wait times, overtime, productivity, and other operational metrics.
- Assign staff schedules, rotations, time off, and call-off coverage while managing overtime and productivity.
- Monitor upfront collections, set goals, provide coaching and corrective action, and conduct performance audits.
- Lead staff training, education, development, evaluations, and day-to-day operational support.
- Manage process improvement projects, participate in facility meetings, and provide on-call administrative and educational guidance during days, nights, and weekends as needed.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Certified Healthcare Access Management (CHAM) and Certified Revenue Cycle Representative (CRCR) certifications.
- Ability to lead and direct others, analyze operational information, and use Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of registration, insurance, scheduling, verification, and hospital billing.
- Demonstrated advanced use of AI and experience managing teams in AI-enabled process and technology improvements.
- Ability to work on-site at Ardent - Hillcrest Hospital in Tulsa, OK.
Nice to have
- Associate or bachelor's degree.
- Two to three years of supervisory experience in healthcare or a business field.
