Application Specialist - PAS

Location: Windsor, UK. Regular travel to customer sites may be required, with projects involving up to 5 days away from home each week.

What you will do

• Analyze customer healthcare processes, identify functionality gaps, and recommend standard TrakCare solutions.
• Lead solution presentations, customer induction workshops, product demonstrations, and training sessions.
• Produce business requirements, process maps, solution design documents, validation scripts, and handover documentation.
• Configure customer sites, validate system configurations and migrated data, and support customer testing.
• Troubleshoot implementation issues, distinguish defects from change requests, and coordinate fixes with project and product teams.
• Support dry runs, customer go-live, adoption, and the final handover to support.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of healthcare experience with a strong understanding of UK PAS processes.
• Deep knowledge of PAS rules, workflows, and billing requirements in private and public UK hospitals.
• Strong communication and consultative skills, including customer training, workshops, presentations, and direct interaction with clinicians.
• Experience with functional documentation, business process mapping, information systems, and multidisciplinary teamwork.
• Ability to maintain clear, consistent, and traceable documentation.
• Proficiency in English.

Nice to have

• Experience implementing software solutions or working as an Application or Configuration Specialist.
• Experience with healthcare stakeholders in government, public-sector, or private-sector organizations.
• Experience with change management, software testing, and customer-facing IT services.
• University degree in Science, Engineering, or a clinical discipline.
