What you will do

• Establish and maintain relationships with commercial payers, government programs, and managed care organizations to support market access strategy.
• Support contract negotiations, reimbursement rate discussions, and payer credentialing processes.
• Monitor payer policy changes, prior authorization trends, and reimbursement updates; translate insights into strategic recommendations.
• Resolve payer-related coverage and reimbursement issues with Revenue Cycle and Market Access teams; track and report payer interactions and coverage trends.
• Partner cross-functionally with Government Affairs, Clinical/Evidence Generation, Sales/Provider Engagement, and Legal/Compliance to strengthen payer positioning and ensure regulatory alignment.
• Provide analytical support for payer performance metrics and develop educational materials, presentations, and tools for stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare administration, life sciences, or a related field.
• 5+ years of direct experience in market access, payer relations, health policy, reimbursement, or a related field in healthcare, medical device, or pharmaceutical industry.
• Strong understanding of commercial and government payer systems, reimbursement policies, and managed care dynamics.
• Experience with CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding, plus payer credentialing and contracting processes.
• Familiarity with prior authorization processes and payer utilization management requirements.
• Ability to travel up to 30-40% for payer meetings, conferences, and internal stakeholder engagements.
