Principal, Strategic AI Advisory (AI)

Location: Australia; frequent travel across APJ is required.

What you will do

• Represent the Office of AI Strategy at industry events, executive roundtables, and in published thought leadership.
• Develop board-ready narratives and advise senior buyers on moving AI initiatives from experimentation to production.
• Engage CTOs, CDOs, and AI transformation leaders to design prescriptive AI transformation roadmaps.
• Lead high-stakes strategy workshops and provide technical direction on strategic enterprise pursuits.
• Translate APJ customer requirements, including data sovereignty and localized AI needs, into product and engineering priorities.
• Shape APJ positioning, go-to-market strategy, and partner advisory motions.

Requirements

• Deep expertise in modern AI, including LLM orchestration, agentic and RAG architectures, data activation platforms, and MCP.
• Broad understanding of cloud infrastructure, security, legacy data silos, governance, organizational change, and enterprise operating models.
• Proven strategic advisory experience in management consulting, a Field CTO office, or a lead architect role, combined with operator experience.
• Ability to co-create AI business cases, connect technical milestones to ROI, and navigate enterprise buying cycles.
• Exceptional executive communication, facilitation, storytelling, and public-speaking skills.
• Based in Australia, with familiarity with GDPR, the APJ AI Act, and APJ business cultures; specialized knowledge in financial services, manufacturing, life sciences, or retail.
