What you will do
- Manage division-level historical financial reporting, anticipatory budgeting, and financial projections under the direction of the Division Controller/CFO.
- Enforce established operating procedures, accounting policies, and fiduciary controls.
- Prepare financial results in accordance with GAAP and corporate reporting requirements.
- Maintain accurate budgets and ensure they reflect contractual or estimated contractual liabilities.
- Oversee delegated banking activities in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Supervise Accounting Department employees, including hiring, training, work assignment, performance management, and problem resolution.
Requirements
- Experience with computerized accounting systems and the ability to use their full capabilities.
- Knowledge of GAAP and financial and accounting policies.
- Ability to manage budgets, financial reporting, and financial projections.
- Ability to enforce operating procedures and exercise fiduciary responsibility.
- Ability to supervise, train, and evaluate accounting employees.
