Manufacturing Technician III, (Mechanic - Device Assembly)

Location: USA - OH - Blue Ash. The position initially follows an M–F, 8-hour day shift and later transitions to a 6:00 AM–6:30 PM 2-2-3 rotation.

Salary: $24.00–$38.00 per hour.

What you will do

• Operate, monitor, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain device assembly equipment.
• Support equipment start-up, recipe selection and setup, sensor challenges, production issues, and equipment-related problem resolution.
• Perform preventive maintenance, investigate abnormal conditions, and reduce unplanned equipment downtime.
• Execute device assembly technician activities, including batch execution, inspection, material handling, rework, cleaning, and line clearance.
• Complete batch records, GMP documentation, CMMS entries, equipment qualification protocols, and process validation activities.
• Support lean, 5S, OEE, Level 0 problem-solving, continuous improvement, and technician training.

Requirements

• Experience in a regulated production environment with responsibility for equipment maintenance and performance.
• Ability to understand, read, write, communicate, and follow instructions in English.
• Ability to lift and handle equipment change parts, tooling, and maintenance materials.
• Strong mechanical and electronic knowledge, technical-document interpretation skills, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work in a changing and demanding production environment; occasional overtime may be required.
• Work authorization or visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Nice to have

• High school, vocational school, or equivalent education.
• At least three years of regulated production equipment maintenance experience.
• Associate degree in engineering or mechanical trade school training.
• Experience with automated equipment, mechanics, hydraulics, electronics, SAP or another CMMS.
• Experience with OEE, TPM, LEAN, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
