  • Perform mechanical, pneumatic, and electromechanical builds, including precision torqueing, sealing, and pressure-system fabrication.
  • Conduct functional tests, pressure tests, leak verification, data collection, and post-test inspections.
  • Provide engineering feedback on manufacturability, build sequences, hardware performance, and design improvements.
  • Fabricate or modify components, tooling, and fixtures to support rapid prototype iteration and test operations.
  • Maintain safety, cleanliness, and quality standards in laboratory and shop environments.

  • Demonstrated experience building and testing aerospace propulsion, engine, or fluid systems.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, P&IDs, assembly procedures, and GD&T fundamentals.
  • Proficiency with precision measurement tools, including micrometers, calipers, and depth gauges.
  • Ability to troubleshoot, redline, and iterate directly with engineering teams.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds, work in confined spaces, and support test operations.
  • Must be a U.S. person under U.S. export-control rules or otherwise eligible for deemed export licensing.

Nice to have

  • A&P license or relevant technical certification.
  • Liquid propulsion R&D and engine-development experience.
  • TIG welding, tube bending, and precision fluid-system fitting experience.
  • Ground support equipment setup, operation, and maintenance experience.
  • Experience with pressure testing, leak checks, data acquisition systems, and custom tooling.
  • Experience in startup or rapid-iteration space programs.

Culture & Benefits

  • Hands-on work in a lean manufacturing team with direct collaboration between technicians and engineers.
  • Employer-paid healthcare and pet insurance.
  • Competitive pay, stock options, 401(k), and potential year-end bonuses.
