Principal Backend Engineer (Node)

Location: Remote within the U.S.

Salary: $150K–$200K per year

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable backend systems.
• Build and polish features for web and mobile applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, prioritize, and implement enhancements.
• Own development work end to end.
• Drive technical innovation and identify opportunities to improve systems and processes.

Requirements

• 10+ years of backend development experience.
• Proven experience designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance, scalable backend systems.
• Strong knowledge of TypeScript, Node.js, Solid.js with Solid Start SSR, hirify.globalgres, AWS Serverless Architecture, Redshift, Redis, and Dynamo.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Must be able to work remotely within the U.S.; visa sponsorship is not available.
