Software Engineer (TypeScript)

Location: Remote within the U.S.; hybrid from San Francisco, New York City, or Salt Lake City with in-person collaboration 3 days per week

Salary: $140K–$220K base salary, plus potential equity, commission, and benefits

What you will do

• Scope, design, and develop product features.
• Design systems that address customer needs and real-world product problems.
• Build and improve product experiences using TypeScript, Postgres, and React.
• Identify and resolve bugs and technical debt.
• Collaborate with Support to investigate and resolve customer technical issues.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience working as a software engineer.
• 2+ years of experience building web application backends.
• Strong technical problem-solving and system design skills, including the ability to explain design tradeoffs.
• Ability to consider current and future needs, technical debt, and maintainability.
• Experience with frontend development is helpful but not required.
• Practical experience experimenting with AI and building an application, workflow, creative solution, or other real-world AI project.
