Developer Relations Engineer (AI)

What you will do

• Write and publish technical content, including blog posts, project teardowns, and Hacker News writeups, based on active engineering work.
• Build hirify.global’s presence across Hacker News, technical podcasts, conferences, and specialized developer communities.
• Run high-signal community activities such as dinners, workshops, and small technical events.
• Drive open-source contributions and external projects that demonstrate hirify.global’s engineering capabilities.
• Develop partnerships with complementary technical brands through events, content, and community collaboration.
• Collect practitioner feedback and share insights with engineering leadership.

Requirements

• Strong engineering foundation, including shipped software and the ability to discuss AI architecture, evaluation design, system design, and production trade-offs with senior engineers.
• Exceptional technical writing skills with a record of producing clear and specific content that engineers read and share.
• Strong understanding of developer communities and technical credibility, including what resonates with practitioners and performs well on Hacker News.
• High ownership, initiative, low ego, and strong personal integrity.
• Ability to work on-site from the San Francisco or New York office.
