Software Engineer II (Golang)

Location: Onsite at hirify.global headquarters in Long Beach, California, United States

Base pay range: $102,000–$128,000 USD per year

hirify.global is an end-to-end space company building rockets, spacecraft, and critical subsystems for space missions.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain user-facing software used to launch rockets and perform spacecraft on-orbit operations.
• Build and maintain software for ingesting, processing, and storing telemetry data.
• Support testing and mission operations for Electron, Neutron, and Photon.
• Perform independent engineering and potentially own products as the responsible engineer.
• Create operational documentation and coordinate with stakeholders.

Requirements

• Degree in software engineering, computer science, electrical engineering, or a similar field.
• At least 2 years of experience in a related field.
• Professional Golang development experience.
• For work in the United States, candidates must meet applicable ITAR eligibility requirements or be eligible to obtain the required authorizations.
• The role involves prolonged periods of sitting, standing, walking, and computer work, with occasional exposure to moderate noise, dust, and fumes in production areas.
