Maintenance Planner & Scheduler

What you will do

• Plan and schedule preventive, predictive, reactive, and outage-related maintenance work in a 24/7/365 data center environment.
• Coordinate maintenance activities across Operations, Engineering, Management, customers, and contractors.
• Manage CMMS work orders, including scheduling, resource readiness, execution details, and closure reviews.
• Plan materials, spare-parts inventory, purchasing, capital projects, labor, and contracted support.
• Develop and maintain maintenance plans, master schedules, SOPs, job plans, and supporting documentation.
• Lead root-cause investigations and implement solutions to reduce recurring equipment failures and operational impact.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED; technical or maintenance-related certifications are preferred.
• At least five years of industrial, data center, or related industry experience.
• At least three years of maintenance and supervisory experience, including three years as a maintenance planner or scheduler.
• Knowledge of change management, work order control, CMMS, plant equipment, and maintenance repair practices.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project; strong attention to detail and time-management skills.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and remain available for after-hours work needs.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Visio or AutoCAD.
• Advanced technical or maintenance-related education or certifications.
