Manager, Automation Maintenance Operations

Location: Onsite in Woodland, California, USA

Salary: $87,000–$131,000 base annual pay, varying by job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

What you will do

• Lead the onsite maintenance team, including daily operations, delegation, training, coaching, and accountability.
• Plan, schedule, and monitor maintenance work orders and related activities.
• Reduce equipment downtime, improve production reliability, eliminate waste, and drive continuous improvement.
• Troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, PLC, and electronic issues using root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, platform, customer, and site safety procedures; conduct training and safety observations.
• Manage maintenance documentation, inventory, vendors, subcontractors, work areas, and team development.

Requirements

• Associate degree, equivalent certification, or relevant hands-on experience in electronics, automotive, automation, manufacturing, or a related field; a bachelor's degree is preferred.
• At least five years of maintenance leadership experience preferred.
• Strong electromechanical skills, including preventive maintenance, electrical inspections, and tolerance checks.
• Experience with CMMS platforms; Maximo experience is preferred.
• Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills, with the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work at heights up to 45 feet, in restrictive areas of 24 inches, in temperatures from 32° to 105° Fahrenheit, and lift or move heavy items.
