Senior Analyst / Associate, Commercial (Biopharma)

Location: New York, NY, United States; three days per week in-office

Salary: $115,000–$150,000 per year base salary at the commencement of employment, with potential bonuses, equity, and company-sponsored benefits.

What you will do

• Lead commercial workstreams from scoping and analysis through recommendations.
• Design and conduct primary and secondary market research across disease areas.
• Interview physicians and key opinion leaders and translate qualitative findings into commercial strategy and launch planning.
• Analyze real-world EHR and claims data to assess assumptions and quantify opportunities.
• Build bottom-up revenue forecasts and market models using commercial datasets and pricing or policy sources.
• Prepare decision-ready recommendations and presentations while coordinating internal stakeholders, subsidiaries, and external partners.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in strategy, commercial, or analytical roles in life sciences, such as consulting, biopharma, investing, banking, or equity research.
• Exceptional academic achievement from a top-tier university.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, qualitative, and problem-solving skills.
• Deep experience with Excel, including financial modeling, and PowerPoint.
• Strong primary-research and stakeholder-engagement skills with senior and expert audiences.
• Ability to lead workstreams independently, navigate ambiguity, and execute at high velocity.

Nice to have

• Direct experience commercializing life sciences products, including asset launches or strategy and operations at a commercial-stage biopharma company.
• Familiarity with EHR and claims data.
