CW- Engineering Technician III - (T3) 1st Shift

What you will do

• Perform routine to moderately complex design, testing, checkout, fabrication, modification, troubleshooting, and assembly of electronic and electromechanical systems.
• Test and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems, subsystems, components, prototypes, test equipment, tools, and fixtures.
• Support new system and NPI installations, field upgrades, mechanical and electrical rework, and quality notifications.
• Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, vacuum, and process testing according to engineering and manufacturing documentation.
• Compile logbooks and test procedure documentation, and assist with correcting manufacturing and engineering process issues.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, secure, and healthy work environment.

Requirements

• Analytical skills and the ability to apply scientific methods to technical activities.
• Ability to read and work from schematics, diagrams, layouts, plans, and written or verbal descriptions.
• Ability to use hand and power tools and operate heavy machinery, including forklifts.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work, including prolonged standing, bending, kneeling, climbing, reaching, and lifting.
• Ability to work in environments with noise and, when required, use cleanroom personal protective equipment.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work within a cross-functional team.
