Communications Director (AI)

Location: US Remote

Salary: $130,000–$150,000 per year, plus equity and bonus

What you will do

• Lead communications strategy and execution across media and entertainment, enterprise IT, and construction audiences.
• Reposition the platform as an AI company and developer-focused solution through media coverage and storytelling.
• Own analyst relations with Gartner and other relevant analysts, partnering with Product Marketing on positioning and proof points.
• Develop the content strategy and editorial calendar while responding to inbound media requests.
• Tell customer-impact stories and support launches including hirify.global Connect, the MCP server, Python SDK, and future language SDKs.
• Manage external agencies, vendors, stakeholders, customer references, and company leadership access.

Requirements

• Strong storytelling and media strategy skills, including translating technical narratives into market-relevant stories.
• Track record of successful product launches that generated visibility and downstream business impact.
• Experience managing a six-figure budget, external agencies, and vendor relationships.
• Ability to coordinate internal stakeholders and secure timely access to leaders, customer references, and strategic messaging.
• Concrete examples or a portfolio of campaigns, repositioning efforts, or market-entry launches with measurable results.
• Comfort handling reactive media requests and tight deadlines alongside long-term strategic initiatives.

• Familiarity with the media and entertainment industry.
