Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (GCP)

Location: Remote from France, with an office available in Paris.

Base salary: €70,000–€90,000 per year, plus equity; no individual variable bonus.

What you will do

• Lead projects that improve the maintainability and scalability of the cloud infrastructure.
• Own day-to-day infrastructure operations, resolving issues directly or coordinating their resolution with the appropriate team.
• Redesign the IAM model using least-privilege access managed as code.
• Centralize logging through a dedicated sink project for reliable observability and debugging.
• Build GCP cost visibility, budgets, alerts, and infrastructure guardrails.
• Coach technology team members on effectively using cloud infrastructure capabilities.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in infrastructure, platform engineering, SRE, or DevOps.
• Experience building and maintaining highly available cloud infrastructure using code.
• Strong understanding of Linux systems, containerization, orchestration, and networking fundamentals.
• Excellent communication skills for translating between technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience with GCP, GKE, Cloud Run, Terraform, GitHub Actions, OpenTelemetry, and Axiom.

Nice to have

• Experience as the first or sole dedicated infrastructure hire.
• Experience in a regulated or healthcare environment.
