DevOps Engineer (Kubernetes, German)

Salary: EUR 2,750–4,800 gross per month. Final compensation depends on experience, location, and professional growth.

What you will do

• Build and manage Kubernetes clusters, deployments, manifests, networking components, and ingress solutions.
• Manage certificates, PKI, mTLS, encryption, confidential workloads, and secure service communication.
• Build secure CI/CD pipelines with testing, scanning, policy-as-code, image signing, and deployment automation.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code for cloud and cluster resources using Terraform, Pulumi, or Crossplane.
• Develop monitoring, dashboards, alerts, incident response workflows, canary releases, rollback mechanisms, and self-healing automation.
• Lead troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, reliability improvements, and SLO compliance for scalable environments.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer.
• Advanced Kubernetes operations expertise, including provisioning, scaling, node health, networking, and traffic management.
• Strong experience with ingress solutions such as NGINX, Traefik, or Istio Gateway, and with certificate management, PKI, and mTLS.
• Experience building secure CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, observability platforms, runtime security, audit logging, and compliance automation.
• Strong scripting and automation skills using Bash, Python, or Go, plus experience in incident response and reliability engineering.
• English and German at Intermediate+ level or above are required.

Nice to have

• Experience with Confidential Computing, secure enclaves, and attestation.
• Knowledge of self-healing mechanisms, automated rollback logic, identity and encryption policies, and drift detection.
• Experience with highly regulated or public-sector cloud projects.
