Senior Associate, Alternative Investments

Location: New York City, United States; hybrid model with a minimum of 3 days in the office per week for most roles

Salary: $130,000–$165,000 base salary annually in New York, plus performance bonus

What you will do

• Manage the end-to-end origination and onboarding process for new alternative investment funds.
• Build and maintain relationships with asset managers, serving as the primary platform contact and supporting training, reporting, sales enablement, and escalations.
• Develop product strategy and roadmaps for SMAs, ETF solutions, Delaware Statutory Trusts, exchange funds, long/short tax strategies, and other emerging structures.
• Drive product introductions from concept through launch and manage ongoing performance tracking, enhancements, and optimization.
• Coordinate cross-functional working groups across Investments, Operations, Tax, Legal & Compliance, Marketing, Finance, Technology, and Sales.
• Identify platform gaps and growth opportunities while improving the asset manager experience across onboarding, reporting, and engagement.

Requirements

• 4–8 years of experience in alternative investments, product management, product development, investor or advisor relations, or financial services strategy.
• Hands-on experience with private fund structures such as private equity, private credit, real estate, hedge funds, or emerging structures.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional teams in product development or launch contexts.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, project management, and communication skills, including the ability to explain complex investment concepts.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Series 7 license or willingness to obtain it within 6 months; proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems, preferably Salesforce.

Nice to have

• Experience with SMAs, DSTs, ETFs, or other emerging investment structures.
• Client-facing or GP/advisor relationship experience.
• CFA, CAIA, or MBA.
