VP, Product Management - Alternative Investments (AI)

Location: Waltham, MA and New York City; hybrid

What you will do

• Set the strategic vision and customer-validated roadmap for the Intralinks Alternative Investments product portfolio.
• Drive the full product lifecycle from market insight and ideation through launch, adoption, and growth.
• Lead AI product strategy using LLMs, generative AI, conversational interfaces, and intelligent automation for fund operations and diligence.
• Own commercial product outcomes, including pricing, competitive positioning, revenue impact, and business growth.
• Conduct customer discovery with GPs, LPs, and fund administrators and translate unmet needs into differentiated products.
• Lead and develop the product management team while partnering with Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Design, and Customer Success.

Requirements

• Fluency in the alternative investments ecosystem, including fund management, LP/GP dynamics, fund operations, DDQ workflows, capital calls, or diligence.
• 10+ years of product management experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership role at a global SaaS business.
• Experience launching products, growing adoption, and applying a go-to-market-oriented approach.
• Product experience with LLMs, generative AI, or intelligent automation.
• Ability to uncover unmet customer needs and convert them into roadmap decisions and differentiated products.
• Proven experience building accountable teams, communicating strategy clearly, and developing people.

Nice to have

• Experience working with institutional clients in markets characterized by long-term relationships, high trust requirements, and significant switching costs.
• Experience applying working-backwards thinking, JTBD methodology, radical candor, and product storytelling.
