Senior Associate, Fund Accounting - Private Markets (CA, WA, GA, & IN)

Location: Hybrid in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Sacramento, Bellevue, Atlanta, or Evansville, United States.

What you will do

• Prepare accurate and timely fund accounting work papers covering capital activity, income and expense accruals, investment activity, and financial reporting.
• Update distribution waterfall and carried interest models and prepare management fee calculations and supporting schedules.
• Review transaction documentation and supporting files to understand investment structures, accruals, and related activity.
• Perform bank reconciliations and process journal entries.
• Support year-end audits in collaboration with clients, auditors, and internal teams.
• Coordinate with clients, legal counsel, auditors, and tax advisors to meet key deadlines.

Requirements

• 2+ years of accounting experience, ideally in alternative investment funds, private equity, or real assets.
• Knowledge of US GAAP, comprehensive accounting concepts, and investment partnerships.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Experience preparing and reviewing general ledgers, work papers, and financial statements.
• Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a deadline-driven environment.
