Senior Software Engineer (Cybersecurity)

Location: Remote from Taiwan; successful finalists must attend an on-site interview.

What you will do

• Own one or more integration domains from roadmap definition and architecture decisions through delivery.
• Build and operate production-grade microservice integrations for cybersecurity tools and third-party services.
• Develop traditional and AI-native integrations using REST, GraphQL, streaming APIs, MCP, and LLM-powered automation.
• Use LLM coding assistants, AI-driven testing, and automated code review to accelerate development.
• Automate builds, deployments, monitoring, and incident triage with AI and scripting.
• Promote practical AI adoption and internal tooling across the engineering team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of backend software development experience and 1+ year as a technical lead or equivalent project ownership experience.
• Proficiency in Python, Go, or Java, with experience building and operating production microservices.
• Experience designing and integrating secure APIs, including REST, GraphQL, streaming APIs, LLM APIs, embedding services, OAuth, API keys, and rate limiting.
• Strong knowledge of distributed systems, message queues such as Kafka or RabbitMQ, and orchestration frameworks such as Celery or Airflow.
• Regular production use of AI tools such as Copilot, Cursor, Claude, or ChatGPT, with sound judgment about when human expertise is required.

Nice to have

• Cybersecurity experience with SOAR, EDR, SIEM, XDR, or similar technologies.
• Experience with large-scale data processing, real-time pipelines, or event-driven architectures.
• Familiarity with AWS, Azure, GCP, Kubernetes, or Helm.
• Experience with MCP, function calling, agent orchestration frameworks, or systems incorporating LLMs and AI services.
