What you will do

• Own backend technical direction and architecture for product development.
• Design scalable technical solutions aligned with business and product needs.
• Lead backend engineering execution, including people management and team organization.
• Ensure reliability, stability, and operational health of backend services.
• Improve and evolve engineering practices and development processes.
• Integrate AI-assisted and agentic development workflows into the software delivery lifecycle.

Requirements

• 7+ years of backend engineering experience, including 2+ years in a Lead or Tech Lead role.
• Proven experience in product development within cross-functional product teams.
• Strong expertise in building production systems, preferably with Python and FastAPI.
• Advanced skills in architecture, solution design, and API integration.
• Experience with MongoDB and modern backend infrastructure (caching, cloud services, deployment tooling).
• Practical experience using AI-assisted or agentic development workflows (code generation, AI coding agents) in real software delivery.

Nice to have

• Experience with PostgreSQL and Redis.
• Experience with Amazon Web Services (S3, Lambda).
• Experience with Kubernetes and Docker.
