Base salary: $133,000–$163,000 USD annually

What you will do

• Monitor and analyze federal healthcare policy, legislation, and regulatory developments affecting health IT, interoperability, and privacy.
• Develop government affairs strategies aligned with public-sector business objectives.
• Engage policymakers, regulators, Congressional leadership, and key staff to advocate for software adoption policies.
• Draft policy positions, comment letters, testimony, briefings, and legislative input.
• Coordinate executive participation in Congressional meetings, hearings, and industry events.
• Translate regulatory requirements into actionable internal guidance and assess emerging policy risks and opportunities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 5–10+ years of experience in government affairs, public policy, healthcare policy, or regulatory affairs.
• Strong understanding of the U.S. healthcare system and health technology policy landscape.
• Experience engaging with federal or state policymakers and regulatory agencies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience using AI-assisted tools and critically evaluating and verifying AI-generated outputs.
• Ability to develop and implement AI-augmented workflows and comply with lobbying, ethics, and disclosure requirements.
