Associate Manufacturing Engineer

Location: Onsite in Broomfield, Colorado; candidates must live within commuting distance. Relocation benefits are not available.

Salary: $62,000–$75,000 per year, plus eligibility for a discretionary annual bonus.

What you will do

• Analyze manufacturing systems and processes to identify value-added activities and solve design challenges.
• Design, develop, test, and implement process improvements, tooling, fixtures, and manufacturing solutions.
• Resolve component-level quality and efficiency issues with product engineering, quality, planning, and production teams.
• Create and control manufacturing documentation, including work instructions, tool drawings, and process drawings.
• Estimate manufacturing costs, update time standards, and recommend tooling and process requirements.
• Evaluate processes, equipment, and materials for scheduling, performance metrics, and financial standards while following safety and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• Understanding of Lean manufacturing, safety, continuous improvement, analytical tools, time studies, and process balancing.
• Knowledge of solid modeling, tool and fixture design, product design reviews, ECR/ECO systems, BOM structures, and engineering documentation.
• Experience with Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with Oracle and Agile.
• Strong communication, listening, collaboration, and cross-functional coordination skills.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Experience with tubular components, CNC machining or programming, TIG and orbital welding, robotics, 3D printing, and mechanical assembly.
• Understanding of Design for Manufacturing and Design for Assembly principles.
