Accounting Specialist

Salary: $70,000–$100,000 annually

What you will do

• Own daily accounts payable and accounts receivable operations, including invoice processing, payment cycles, customer billing, collections, and discrepancy resolution.
• Manage vendor relationships and support cash flow operations through accurate AP and AR tracking.
• Execute month-end close activities, including AP accruals, corporate card reconciliation in Ramp, and AR revenue recognition support.
• Train non-finance teams on purchase order processes and spend management tools while troubleshooting procurement workflows.
• Maintain accurate records across Ramp, QuickBooks, and future ERP systems, supporting integrations and implementations.
• Prepare AP aging, AR status, and cash flow reports and identify opportunities for automation and process improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
• General knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and communication across technical and non-technical teams.
• Proactive approach to process improvement and ability to learn new systems in evolving processes.
• Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office Suite for reporting and analysis.
• Ability to work extended hours and weekends when necessary.

Nice to have

• Experience with Ramp, QuickBooks, or ERP systems through internships, coursework, or professional work.
• Prior internship or work experience in accounting, finance, or operations.
