What you will do

• Lead financial modeling and deal economics, including DCF valuation, trading and transaction comparables, accretion/dilution, synergy analysis, and deal structuring.
• Build, stress-test, and defend sophisticated models for M&A and venture opportunities.
• Research acquisition, joint venture, and investment targets while maintaining the target landscape, deal pipeline, and CRM.
• Prepare investment memos, deal summaries, and Board materials for senior leadership.
• Support WD Capital through company and technology diligence, investment thesis development, and relationships with venture capital firms, accelerators, and startup ecosystems.
• Coordinate due diligence, risk assessment, and integration hand-off with Finance, Legal, HR, IT, technical, and business stakeholders.

Requirements

• 3–6+ years of experience in investment banking, private equity or growth equity, corporate development, or management consulting.
• Required experience executing live transactions through diligence, negotiation, and close.
• Advanced financial modeling and quantitative analysis skills, including valuation, alternative deal structures, and transaction economics.
• Experience producing investment memos, Board materials, and executive-ready deal summaries with minimal supervision.
• Familiarity with due diligence across Legal, Finance, HR, IT, and technical or product functions, plus market intelligence platforms such as PitchBook and CapIQ.
• Strong Excel, PowerPoint, written communication, verbal communication, attention to detail, and independent execution skills.

• Experience in a highly technical industry.
• Experience with strategic M&A, joint ventures, divestitures, commercial partnerships, or cross-border transactions.
• Deep-tech venture investing experience.
• MBA or equivalent professional progression.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related analytical field.
