Ab Initio Administrator (On-site)

Location: On-site 100% in Arlington, Virginia; U.S. citizenship is required.

Salary: $76,700–$142,500 annually.

What you will do

• Administer, monitor, and sustain the Ab Initio platform and associated data integration infrastructure supporting PeopleSoft HCM.
• Install, configure, patch, maintain, and troubleshoot Ab Initio components, supporting servers, and Oracle dependencies across development, test, and production environments.
• Manage environments, job execution and scheduling, metadata and repositories, file handling, data movement, and platform access.
• Develop shell scripts, automation utilities, runbooks, and standard operating procedures to improve operational reliability.
• Monitor system health, ETL performance, batch processing, logs, interfaces, and capacity while coordinating incident resolution.
• Support change control, releases, audits, system hardening, vulnerability remediation, backup and recovery, and contingency planning.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• At least 3 years of experience in infrastructure, systems administration, ETL platform support, or related roles.
• Hands-on experience with on-premises Oracle and Solaris/UNIX environments, scripting, automation, ETL processes, data movement, batch processing, scheduling, and file transfer mechanisms.
• U.S. citizenship and an active Secret security clearance or the ability to obtain one are required.
• Experience in secure federal or Department of Defense environments is preferred.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of PeopleSoft HCM architecture, interfaces, batch processing, and Oracle ecosystem integrations.
• Experience with enterprise Ab Initio job execution, scheduling, metadata and repository management, and production sustainment.
• Knowledge of change management, backup and recovery, incident management, problem management, runbooks, and SOPs.
