Focus on hardening infrastructure, resolving escalated system issues, conducting recovery drills, and supporting secure operations across multiple sites.
Location: South Burlington, Vermont, United States; onsite role. Must be a U.S. citizen eligible for a U.S. Department of Defense security clearance.
Salary: $80,000–$95,000 USD per year.

What you will do
- Administer cloud and on-premise systems and networks, primarily supporting Government Programs in a CMMC-governed environment.
- Manage Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Azure, Microsoft Domain Services, Windows with Intune, iOS through MDM, and Linux domain management and RMM tools.
- Maintain DNS, certificates, encryption, backups, replication routines, and disaster recovery procedures, including testing and documentation.
- Monitor infrastructure with tools such as PagerDuty and troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and system issues.
- Provide Tier 2 technical support and serve as the final internal escalation point for system issues.
- Collaborate with Information Security to remediate vulnerabilities and harden the environment.
Requirements
- 8 or more years of experience managing information systems and networks.
- Expert-level knowledge of Microsoft 365 cloud offerings.
- Experience scripting common tasks with PowerShell, Python, and other programming languages.
- U.S. citizenship and eligibility for a U.S. Department of Defense security clearance are required.
Nice to have
- Expert knowledge of Conditional Access and Microsoft cloud-native security tools.
- Experience with on-premise backup solutions.
- Experience with Fortinet firewalls and networking products.
- Exposure to Splunk or other SIEM platforms.
- Ability to administer and implement Azure cloud services.
