Enterprise Solutions Advisor - VA (Healthcare Interoperability)

Location: Vienna, Virginia, United States; occasional regional travel required.

Base salary: $136,000–$168,000 USD annually, plus potential discretionary annual variable incentive and sales incentives.

What you will do

• Serve as a trusted technical advisor to U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs stakeholders and manage technical relationships across the account.
• Coordinate with account representatives, product management, professional services, support, system integrators, and project managers.
• Guide architecture, technology strategy, model design, development patterns, migration strategies, upgrades, and operational practices.
• Design, build, and present proofs of concept, prototypes, pilots, demonstrations, and customized training.
• Support beta testing, pre-launch activities, technically challenging implementations, and successful adoption and expansion of hirify.global solutions.
• Capture customer needs, prepare technical proposals and solution collateral, and coordinate issue resolution and product improvements.

Requirements

• 12+ years of software engineering experience and 5+ years as a Technical Account Manager and/or Solution Consultant.
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Strong experience in enterprise application development, architecture, technical documentation, databases, data engineering, analytics architectures, AI use cases, APIs, cloud services, containers, and operating systems.
• Knowledge of healthcare interoperability standards and protocols, including FHIR, HL7v2, CCD/CCDA, and X12.
• Ability to lead technical qualification calls, RFx processes, proofs of concept, prototypes, paid pilots, and implementation oversight.
• Excellent communication, presentation, analytical, mentoring, and customer relationship skills, including interaction with clinicians, C-level executives, and software engineers.

Nice to have

• U.S. Government, public-sector, healthcare, or Veterans Affairs experience.
• Knowledge of FedRAMP, FISMA, healthcare data privacy, security, and compliance requirements.
• Familiarity with the VistA Electronic Medical Record.
• Relevant hirify.global or healthcare interoperability certifications.
