What you will do

  • Own manufacturing activities for battery-system product areas from program design through stable production.
  • Design, implement, commission, and improve assembly processes, tools, and manufacturing equipment.
  • Participate in design and process reviews, assess certification risks, and ensure production specifications and practices are met.
  • Analyze production data, plan capacity, and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, and long-term cost.
  • Collaborate with quality, design, and manufacturing teams to resolve nonconformances and validate external suppliers.
  • Support ERP inventory management and perform hands-on product assembly when needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related discipline.
  • 2–5+ years of professional experience defining assembly processes.
  • Experience operating and troubleshooting manufacturing equipment.
  • Strong problem-solving foundation, including statistical process control, design of experiments, and simulation techniques.
  • Understanding of design for assembly, lean manufacturing, capacity planning, project management, and leadership.
  • Willingness to travel domestically or internationally. Ability to remain on your feet for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Nice to have

  • Aerospace manufacturing experience.
  • Experience in rapid manufacturing growth or a startup environment.
  • Lean Six Sigma experience.
  • PLEX ERP system experience.
