Backend Engineer - Python (SDE 2)

Develops and maintains sites and services for FinAccel/hirify.global.

What you will do

• Design and implement product features and functionality for sites and services.
• Work with Product, Business, and Sales teams to understand requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
• Write high-quality, maintainable backend code and own parts of the system in an agile environment.
• Benchmark systems, perform load testing, diagnose problems, and implement solutions.
• Research and apply modern frameworks and technologies for backend systems.
• Participate in design discussions and code reviews while solving technical challenges.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral degree in Computer Science or an equivalent qualification.
• 3+ years of software industry experience.
• Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming, data structures, algorithms, and computer science fundamentals.
• Professional experience with Python, Java, or C++.
• Good understanding of microservices architecture, HTTP, web services, OAuth, and RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with Linux, strong troubleshooting and communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in a team.

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud-based systems and infrastructure services such as AWS or GCP.
