Software Engineer (C++)

Location: Hybrid work from the Sofia office, Bulgaria

What you will do

• Design and develop highly scalable, fault-tolerant software solutions.
• Challenge technical decisions and contribute to building a stronger product.
• Develop and enhance automated testing and quality-assurance tooling.
• Reproduce complex usage scenarios and analyze technical problems.
• Work across low-level system programming, distributed and cloud computing, and web development.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of professional C++ development experience.
• Experience with system and network programming, including operating-system basics, processes, I/O, and Windows and Unix-based systems.
• Practical experience with multithreading and parallelism.
• Knowledge of the C++ standard library, Boost, cross-platform development, algorithms, and data structures.
• Experience with agile development, automated testing, code reviews, CI/CD, and test-driven development.
• Fluent spoken and written English required.

Nice to have

• TypeScript experience.

Hiring process

• Initial interview with the People & Culture team.
• Technical interview with engineers, followed by a take-home task and task-review interview.
• Final interview with the VP of Engineering, Engineering Manager, or both.
