Mobile App Developer - Android (Automotive)

What you will do

• Build Android-specific functionality for automotive user-interface applications.
• Improve application performance, quality, and responsiveness.
• Write unit tests covering reliability, usability, and edge cases.
• Fix bugs and maintain application performance.
• Maintain code quality and organization.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional experience with a bachelor's degree in automotive engineering, embedded software, systems engineering, computer science, or a related field.
• Professional Android development experience.
• A strong record of innovation demonstrated through patents, papers, or products.
• Ability to articulate and advocate for technology direction with customers and internal development teams.
• Experience with version control tools such as GitHub and familiarity with software project management and Agile methodology.
• Strong presentation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.

Nice to have

• Experience with embedded systems or automotive development.
• Unity 3D Engine development experience.
