What you will do

• Own the global e-invoicing strategy and roadmap for international market expansion.
• Serve as the subject matter expert on e-invoicing, real-time digital reporting, and indirect tax regulations.
• Translate regulatory requirements into scalable product features, technical requirements, validation rules, invoice schemas, and compliance workflows.
• Monitor emerging regulations and prioritize implementation based on customer demand, regulatory deadlines, and business objectives.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Customer Success, Sales, Solutions Engineering, and Implementation teams on customer deployments.
• Represent hirify.global internally and externally as an expert in e-invoicing and digital tax compliance.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in indirect tax, tax technology, VAT/GST, or global tax compliance.
• 3+ years of direct e-invoicing experience.
• Experience designing or implementing e-invoicing solutions across multiple countries.
• Experience partnering with Product and Engineering teams to build tax technology products.
• Ability to translate complex regulations into scalable product specifications and technical requirements.
• Strong program management, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to have

• Experience building or managing a commercial e-invoicing platform or tax technology product.
• Experience with PEPPOL, clearance models, CTC frameworks, and real-time reporting systems.
• Experience integrating with SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or NetSuite.
• Familiarity with APIs, distributed systems, and enterprise software architecture.
