Technical Program Manager, Billing

Location: San Francisco, CA or New York City, NY; hybrid, with staff expected to work from one of the offices at least 25% of the time

Annual salary: $290,000–$365,000 USD

What you will do

• Drive cross-functional programs that build billing platform foundations from scoping and tradeoff decisions through delivery.
• Standardize commercial intake for billing through frameworks, ownership models, and sequenced dependencies.
• Own promotions programs from proposal and configuration through reconciliation across self-serve and sales-led programs.
• Manage commercialization and launch readiness so new products and SKUs have pricing, metering, invoicing, and reporting in place.
• Own the charge-pipeline change process and payments operations programs with finance and treasury, including currency and FX.

Requirements

• 6+ years of technical program management experience and a record of owning cross-functional programs end to end.
• Ability to reason about metering, invoicing, payment flows, and the supporting data pipelines.
• Experience running launch-readiness programs for products requiring commercial and billing paths before shipment.
• Ability to build trust across engineering, finance, treasury, GTM systems, product, and support teams and translate between them.
• Comfort driving outcomes across teams without direct reporting relationships.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education, training, or professional experience in a relevant field.

Nice to have

• Experience with promotions, credit programs, or enterprise billing platforms.
• Familiarity with FX, treasury, month-end close, or reconciliation.
• Background in payments operations, billing platforms, or quote-to-cash product management.
• Familiarity with chargeback and refund operations.
